Agricultural Palace

Agricultural Palace, built in Kazan in 2010, is an impressive administrative complex built in the styles of classicism and Empire. Its exquisite architectural appearance has made it one of the key landmarks of the capital of Tatarstan, evoking associations with the palace complexes of 19th-century France, Italy, and Austria.

Bauman Street

A pedestrian street in the centre of Kazan, approximately 2.5 km long. It is considered one of the oldest streets in the city, dating back to the 15th century. Today, the street is home to numerous shops, cafes, and restaurants, as well as landmarks such as the Kazan Cat monument, a replica of Catherine the Great's carriage, and the Epiphany Cathedral Bell Tower.

Old Tatar Quarter

Old Tatar Quarter is one of the historical districts in the centre of Kazan. It was founded in the 16th century after the capture of the city by Ivan the Terrible. Initially, it consisted of just a single street running along one of the shores of Lake Kaban. Today, it is a tourist pedestrian area showcasing traditional Tatar architecture and culture.

Lake Kaban

The largest water system in Tatarstan, consisting of three lakes and located in the heart of Kazan. Thanks to its picturesque beauty and unique wildlife, this body of water is considered a national shrine and one of the main symbols of the republic's capital. The lake is shrouded in numerous legends and historical tales that continue to attract adventurers.

Komsomolskiy Park

A recreation area with walking paths between pine-wood trees. Here you can ride a Ferris wheel or one of 26 attractions. Address: behind the 1st complex of the GES (hydroelectric power station).

Grenada Park

A magnet for the youth of Naberezhnye Chelny. The area features a skate park designed using best international practices, a pump track, cosy cafes, a children's playground, and a dog park. Grenada is also home to the KAMAZ football stadium, an indoor football arena, and the Albatross swimming pool.

Pribrezhny Park

A unique waterfront natural area in the heart of Naberezhnye Chelny, Pribrezhny is the city’s largest park — and one of the largest in Tatarstan — covering 324 hectares. Created in the 1950s as an artificial shoreline stabilization planting, it has since grown into a mature forest with a distinctive ecosystem that attracts both residents and visitors.

Gabdulla Tukay Embankment

One of the city’s most popular public spaces, the Gabdulla Tukay Embankment features G. Tukay Square with a dry-deck fountain and a stage. The promenade offers ample seating, viewpoints, and giant swings across its whole area. An exhibition area is arranged under the bridge, and at night the embankment is lit with striking illumination inspired by Saturn’s rings.

Ship Grove

In a forest with pine branches, you can have a picnic, pick mushrooms and just walk along winding paths.

Zay River

A great spot for nature lovers, with scenic banks, cool water, and fresh air. Alongside both sides of the Zainsky Bridge there are places to rest, swim, fish, and take photos.

Family Park

Opened for Nizhnekamsk’s 50th anniversary, Family Park is one of Tatarstan’s most engaging urban parks. Located in the city centre, it’s a large woodland with wide larch boardwalks and contemporary design. Amenities include cafés and a walk-through fountain with a chessboard pattern. Active visitors will appreciate 3.5 km of bike paths, a bicycle bridge, sports courts, an outdoor workout zone, a mini climbing wall, and a ropes course. An amphitheatre on an artificial hill sits beside a birch grove.
