Alabuga Start fully meets our expectations: Charge d'Affaires of Burkina Faso is delighted with the programme

Today Charge d'Affaires Bassirou Zoma and other representatives from the Embassy of Burkina Faso made their first visit to Alabuga Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
 
The delegation was treated to a comprehensive tour of the SEZ and Alabuga Polytech, an educational center dedicated to cultivating skilled professionals. During their visit, the embassy representatives engaged with college students and familiarized themselves with the educational programme.

Furthermore, the delegation visited Alabuga Polytech headquarters and the South Park residential complex, where participants of the Alabuga Start international programme live.

As part of the programme, girls from Burkina Faso arrived in Alabuga approximately two months ago. The representatives from the Embassy personally conversed with the participants of Alabuga Start, who came to acquire a new profession, study the Russian language, and immerse themselves in the local culture.

"The Alabuga Start programme has proven to be an exceptional initiative, enabling active youth to rapidly acquire essential skills," stated Bassiru Zoma, the Charge d'affaires of the Embassy of Burkina Faso. "We are committed to fostering youth development and promoting their successful professional integration. The Alabuga Start programme has indeed lived up to our expectations in this regard." 

Alabuga Start is an international programme designed specifically for ambitious young women aged between 18 and 22. The programme aims to address the issue of personnel shortage in Russia and provide the company with the necessary highly qualified personnel.

Alabuga Special Economic Zone (SEZ) stands as the premier special economic zone in Europe. Encompassing approximately 40 distinct import-substituting industries, each a leader in its field, the SEZ boasts a total investment volume of 3,9 billion dollars. This substantial investment has facilitated the creation of over 16,000 jobs, with residents generating a revenue of 2,1 billion dollars in 2023.
