How the selection process for Alabuga Start works

The entire selection process takes place remotely on the platform. This is your personal navigator that guides you from submitting your application to receiving a job offer.

Eligibility criteria for the Alabuga Start programme

YOU ARE AN AMBITIOUS YOUNG WOMAN

Aged 18 to 22

COMPLETED SECONDARY SCHOOL EDUCATION

Minimum 9 classes

A VALID INERNATIONAL PASSPORT

For visa processing

NO SERIOUS CHRONIC ILLNESSES

The participant will not be allowed to work if a chronic illness is detected

Stages of registration and selection

Registration on the platform
Step 1
Registration on the platform
Goal:
Create a login and password on the platform.
What to do:
Click the "Registration" button, select your country, enter your phone number and receive a code. If something goes wrong or the code does not arrive, contact technical support.

Goal:
Fill in the basic information about yourself.
What to do:
Log in to the platform with your login and password and complete the basic application form (full name, date of birth, country and city, contact details, information about yourself, and physical parameters).
Video introduction

Goal:
Present your candidacy.
What to do:
Record and upload to the platform a short video where you introduce yourself and answer the questions:
• What is your name?
• How old are you?
• Where are you from?
• Why do you want to participate in the Alabuga Start programme and how did you learn about it?
Documents for processing

Goal:
Prepare your information for a visa application and a work permit.
What to do:
Upload to the platform your citizenship information, an official photo, and a high-quality scan of all pages of your passport.
Medical information

Goal:
Confirm your compliance with the programme's medical standards.
What to do:
According to the instructions in your personal account, take the required medical tests (HIV, Hepatitis, Tuberculosis, and others depending on the country) and upload the scans of the certificates to the platform.
Alabuga Start business simulation
Step 6
Alabuga Start business simulation
Goal:
Assess your professional potential in a game-based format.
What to do:
Complete an interactive business simulation on the platform that analyses your logic and decision-making skills.
Language test
Step 7
Language test
Goal:
Prepare for the initial communication in a new environment.
What to do:
Independently study a list of 100 basic Russian words and take an automated test on the platform.
Interview with a supervising HR specialist
Step 8
Interview with a supervising HR specialist
Goal:
Individual agreement on participation terms.
What to do:
At the scheduled time, join a video call with an HR specialist for an online interview and discussion of your readiness to relocate.
Step 9 – FINAL
Offer and invitation
Goal:
Official confirmation of your participation in the programme.
What to do:
Receive a job offer and an official invitation by email for visa processing and flight arrangements. Upload a video with the offer.

Support during relocation

Once the documents are ready, the Alabuga Start team takes care of all organisational and financial matters related to the relocation
Flight payment
The programme itself purchases the plane ticket from your country to Russia.
Airport meeting 
You will be personally met by a supervising HR specialist. They will stay in contact with you from the moment of departure, meet you in the arrivals area, help you find your way around the airport, and answer any questions.
Transfer and check-in
We provide comfortable escort from the airport to your accommodation in a corporate hostel and help you settle in on your first day.

The cooperation of the Alabuga Start programme with the ministries and embassies of your country means that the girl is in a legal, secure system. Your daughter is provided with comfortable accommodation, stable income and is protected by both the laws of the Russian Federation and the diplomatic missions of your homeland.
